DJ279 is a brand in himself. Pictured here with 50 Cent, DJ 279 is the UK’s Premier underground Hip Hop DJ. UBand are the exclusive visual media team for DJ279, and have worked with him capturing exclusive documentaries with the likes of DJ Premier and the Wu Tang Clan. Open Mic UK/Live and Unsigned
UBand’s relationship with the Live and Unsigned Team began when we showed up as press for Live Fest 2011 and took some EPIC photos of Tinchy Stryder, Pegasus Bridge and Roll Deep. We now provide judging for their annual Open Mic UK and Live & Unsigned competition, as well as press services for their major events. We are looking forward to building on our partnership with the UK’s largest unsigned artist event. |

Broken Silence
Broken Silence are the UK’s Premier Charity for Sickle Cell Research. They put on open mic competitions annually to raise money and awareness for the research of Sickle Cell. We believe that their work is very important and show our support by supplying prizes for their annual Open Mic event as well as media support in the run up. We are looking forward to building on our relationship with Broken Silence in the coming years. |

Urban Coco Fashion & music magazine was launched in summer 2010.
